This course introduces students to the principles and processes of product design, from idea generation to prototyping and user testing. Students will learn how to create innovative and user-centered designs, using tools like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD. By the end of the course, students will be ready to design products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. What Students Will Learn: Understanding the product design process (research, ideation, prototyping, testing) User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Conducting user research and usability testing Design thinking methodology and problem-solving techniques Introduction to design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch Iterating and refining designs based on feedback By the end of the course, students will be equipped to create compelling product designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
